$40k? WOW that was one expensive mod! At that price I would have kept her [the car] stock! LOL

Well, the furniture was purchased before the car.

BTW, where did the $40K number come from? I hope I didn't spend that much on f**kin' furniture! If I did, then I should gave bought a GTS!

Sorry I meant to post this earlier.. Better late than never. As you can see it's two independent pipes and hence we didn't want to merge them and create a further restriction:

I wondered who bought that center muffler that was for sale for $150 a few weeks back.

Are the 997.1 and 997.2 side mufflers the same parts?

No they're completely different. A 2 piece system vs a 3 piece on the .2.

I'm aware the .1 is two-piece, and the .2 is three piece. But, is the only difference the addition of the center muffler on the .2?

I'm wondering how close I can get to 997.1 sound with your bypass I ordered last week for my .2.

Hi Brian there's a few more differences with the side mufflers themselves and then you have to factor in the A91 DFI motor sound being different vs the older M97. I think the newer ones can sound better for sure.

Also, thanks for the status update on my order. I'm enthusiastically looking forward to it's arrival
