Default V-GT wing + others...

V-GT wing - nice wing
Cup aero - nice wing
others - nice
Duck - IMO would be the best choice for your car.

The other wings look great but your car does have a nice wide stance that the stubbiness (I know for you scholars not a real word) stature of the duck will really compliment the look of the car plus the duck on a new 997 I think would create a amazing retro new modern age but still a classic look ..... The word classic associated on a matte black finish, modded as you have sounds a bit off but the duck would do it...

Just my thoughts, your car looks great...looking forward to seeing pics of what you choose...

This car to me has a great style and look to it... others may not agree, as sen sporting the Duck style..

Vorsteiner calls it 'Carbon Fiber Honeycomb Matrix (CFHM)' No paint, however the decklid does need to be painted to match. Hope that helps

You guys got me wondering now. I've had my C2S up to 140 and it didn't scare me a bit. I actually thought the car was well planted. I'll have to dive a car with the Aero kit some time to see the difference. I do know one thing....they wings and aero kits look amazing on the car.

That's not my car, mine has the 997TT rear deck lid set up, posted on page 1 mid way down of this thread... someone posted this blue car on another forum seeing it at a car show...and just thought the style was great and would look really nice given the OP's car, unique color, and mods to date...Hope it works out and please keep us posted.

I love the TT set up and the second wing blade hydraulic motion etc but hard to beat a classic DUCK!

Here .. want to get a close up of a VORSTINER Wing..?.. check out this very hot video..
let the video run.. and check out the 997TT's carbon air intakes..

this is a well done machine.. too bad the VGT wing is soly made for the Carrera 997.1 only.

Recently acquired 2011 C4S ...has the aero cup kit. Haven't run it up to triple digits yet, but close...feels super solid on the road. Learned from Porsche (also noted on sun coast website) that nose skirt and wing are designed to be used together, may get some funky results if you only put the wing on. I tend to be a purist and stick with pure Porsche.

Ynot- from your pics I see you are in the neighborhood...I'll look for you on the road!

The Ducktail is on.. And the Tuning Shop did an awesome job.. But not without challenges thanks to Getty..

They sent a raw material mould.. Fibres all over it..so lots of prep work..
Getty did not pre drill any holes for cables
Getty did not supply any hardware.. WTF....

The Shop did a great job.. Never complained and got all the parts 3rd party..still installed by ordering lots of little extras.. No time to do the rear light tint and light carbon touch up..bummer

It's all installed and a real beauty.. I will post pics on my return to Ottawa..

Spectacular....but I think fragile also .. Also I'm a little concerned on water drainage due to the open air grills..

Any feedback on that would be great

Pics to follow !

Did you reach out to Mark? My spoiler arrived yesterday and it's fully preped (ready for final priming before paint) and seems to have all the hardware including the wiring harness etc. I have found Mark really professional to work with so I'd be interested in understanding what happened.

Looking forward to seeing some pictures of your car with the wing on.

Best,

Matt
