Correct me if I'm wrong, but your 997.2's rear deck spoiler is the same dimension and design as the 997.1, correct? So, the GT3TEK spoiler should fit.

Same outside look, but the underneath the rear deck lid on the 997.2 is different with it's dual intake air box and the deck lid mates up to that.

Ynot = Awesome
mdrums.. correct .. the company emailed me that they will have a new version within 6 months

Ynot - my wife would kill me...lol .. Plus I work in a Govt Town .. they dont have a sense for these things..

doing my research..Although Im liking the Duck .. almost reminds me of the 1980s in a smaller way.. I leaning towards TechArt Type I .. would need to send to shop to match custom paint..plus its a little more conservative .. which is what Im aiming for

Mr. Ynot, what version of that vorsteiner wing do you have. I checked their site and I see only one that has 2 extra intakes just below the wing. Maybe I missed something?

Great looking car by the way

I'd still stick to either Aerokit, or ducktail.

If aftermarket, just one note, DO NOT get a cheap aftermarket spoiler... the rear wings play a big role in driving in high speeds, and if you insall a custom made stuff that's not designed properly it CAN fail at high speed and cause a crash... Techart is reputable, so that should be fine, but be very careful with other aftermarket products.

Understood; however, if OP were to go with the spoiler, not wing version, I believe it would fit. That's was what I was alluding to.

It's the V-GT decklid and CF wing, here is the direct link http://www.vorsteiner.com/porsche/91...Rear-Wing.aspx

Thanks

Any thoughts on whether or not a wing or a spoiler helps on a cab?

Ynot : I read that the V-GT wing is a Carbon top .. is it topped in Carbon finish ? and did you have it painted over ?

or does it come painted ?..

Matt
