Nothing like popping into your garage to gaze and admire your ride. Congrats!

Congrats! Waking up with a Porsche in the garage is a great feeling. I find myself peeking in the garage before going to bed. Enjoy it in good health.

I agree w/ everyone else but please, please tell me you are going to at least consider putting those gorgeous tail pipes (Techart?) that you have on your Avatar on the new ride. Maybe I'm fixated but they are absolutely spectacular!!

Tim, Thanks!

I wish I could use those tail pipes. They were an OEM option on the 996 and were on the car when I got it and when I returned it to the leasing company.

Here is a larger pic of them.

BTW, your new GTS is gorgeous!

Jen,

The car still has bugs on it from the trip home. My daughter in in town this weekend so I don't want to take away any of the time I get to spend with her by washing and prepping the car for pics. Hopefully, I can get some tomorrow.

It's a beautie Tim. Enjoy in good health. And don't shy away from the short shifter. I had it on my -06 C4S and always said it was the best mod I did on that car along with the Tubi. If I get a 6 sp again it will be the first thing I do to it. Have to think that those who bitch about it either didn't have it installed right or may not be entirely comfortable driving a manual to begin with. Installed right it's better than stock in every respect imo.
