No, Ed is NOT a troll!

For those of you that don't know Ed, he is one of my best Rennlist Friends. He had a 996 and sold it for, as I call it, an "air sucker." But he still frequents the 996 Forum a lot, so we have kept in touch.

Good to see you on the 997 Forum, Ed. Are you still buying parts that don't fit on your Porsche?

Have to think that those who bitch about it either didn't have it installed right or may not be entirely comfortable driving a manual to begin with. Installed right it's better than stock in every respect imo.
Jason,

Thanks! If I get a short shifter, it will probably be the OEM short shifter.

Performance wise I think the OEM and the B&M kits are pretty much identical. You pay a little more for the OEM but in return it allows you to revert back to stock where the B&M is a no-turning-back mod. At least that's my understanding.

Thanks Chris! It took longer than I "wanted" it to take, but that is true with many things in life.

BTW, nice Slant Nose!

Alex, I agree on the Sig pic. It will be changed shortly.

Thanks again to everyone for the kind "welcome back" messages!
Seriously Tim I'm soooo thrilled for you! The 997.2S was so much more than just a face-lift. I was really blown away with mine. Still the best daily D I ever had to date! Enjoy!
