$160 gas cap!

Default $160 gas cap!
In checking off the options for my new GTS cab, I told the dealer to order the Alum Look Fuel Filler Cap. Naively, I was thinking this meant the exterior fuel tank door, as is available on many cars now. Surely it's not just a gas cap? But oh, yes, it is!
I'm not going to bug him to change the order for a $160 option, so it looks like I'm stuck with an expensive damn gas cap.

That's the penalty you pay for the thought of chroming the fuel tank gas lid.

Never understood the plastic look like metal gas cap that only you will see when filling up the car....very strange option and price.

Porsche is falling down in this area.

Where's the Gas Cap Hinge Painted Ext Color? Where's the Fuel Filler Gasket in matching leather?
