$160 gas cap!

I rather have the "plastic" one. I would be afraid of scratching or bumping the paint with a heavier metal one.

Porsche should catch up with the rest and have a cap that you can insert the hose nozzle through without having to unscrew anything. My Ford Focus has it (stock on newer Ford products) and it is uber-easy to fill up and I never have to worry about losing anything, scratching the paint, or buying $160 gas caps. The system uses a redundant lock that prevents accidental opening.

How did you remove the tether pin/cap? Looks like some kind of star screw head. I'm working with a 2007 RS. I may just cut it. I probably won't tether the gunmetal one anyway.
