Only my opinion, if it works for you - go for it.
It's ok as long as you wear a sock that can pull the two together... a nice argyle for example :-)

Black was factory introduced to that cabin with the center stack. The PDK trim looks like a natural extension of that stack...at least to me it does. I like it.

where did the OP get the leather?

I have black exterior and would like to go black with painted shift boot trim(get rid of silver), add the leather like the OP did to the shift trim, and go with the black mats.

I think it looks pretty sharp.

Looks cool; the only thing with black mats is that dirt isn't black - specs of sand are not black and like black exteriors every spec shows. Hard to keep clean - the dash and shifter look good though. it's all goo though - that's what makes life great - variety - mighty boring place if everyone thought and looked the same. BTW - you can wear black penny loafers with kakis! I do sometimes - depends on the shirt - there are an infinite number of Kaki colors it seems - some on the grey side and some on the tan side - then there's stone.....coco mats anyone.....?

Excellent idea - does Porsche make an argyle shift boot or console trim piece?
