Started preliminary search for 06 or 07 S coupe/ targa. Any leeds would help.
Also considering a 02/03 TT
Will be selling the 02 cab 85k miles

I would skip the 05, 06 are less prone to IMS issues, good luck.

Wasn't the IMS upgraded in late 05? And didn't the S models use the upgraded IMS?

No IMS issues on the 996 turbo - it's a different engine. If you find a nice one, this might be a nice alternative to an early 997. Good luck with the search - have fun with it.

It was but if you read the forums, people still had issues. Why take the risk, price difference from an 05' to an 06' is minimum.

Turbo!!! I just switched from 04 996 to an 07 997tt. Night and day difference.
