No. Please, No. That is so far outside the 911 gene pool... if this is the real deal, they have completely lost me. It's butt is too tall, taillights too "un-911" and good grief... no.

I can't help but laugh at all the predictions of 911 Armageddon, and how awful the changes are. Porschephiles have been down this road so many times in the last 45 years. Never going to buy another 911? What other manufacturer's car will you buy that has more faithfully held to the tradition of the marque? Every car model changes with the times; the 911 a lot less than most.

It will be funny to bring out all of today's doom and gloom quotes in a couple of years when the new platform allows Porsche to stay ahead of the pack on the track and everyone is inevitably drooling over and must have the new road iterations of the race cars.

Just my opinion.
