Awesome. There's nothing like seeing your kid's shining grin next to your own... reflected back from the glow of a mirror p-car finish. Priceless! Now that's the real Porsche commercial.

thanks!

Loving the pics. I sold my 964 cab when I bought the 997. Not enough space...

My younger son and I spent 14 hrs detailing her this weekend: thorough wash, clay bar(Adams), polishing compound(Meguiars Professional for the rest), a pure polish, waxed all surfaces twice(NXT 2.0 then #26), 3rd coat of wax on all the forward facing surfaces, and a 4th coat on the nose(a little more protecting against road debris). The p-dealer I purchased her from 4 months ago did an awful job of detailing her... swirl marks everywhere. We got 95% of them out. Tough to polish out those A pillar areas and the spoiler. Not sure if the low res pics will do her justice but here you go. Post a pic when you have yours nice and presentable.

Very nice work, glad I am not alone in my willingness to devote massive hours in pursuit of perfection.

72offsuit. That's a beautiful mirror finish. What color is that? I want to say silver but it looks deeper. I detailed the interior this weekend. The Bissell sucked up a ton of crude from carpet. She smells and looks great on the inside now.

Just a wash and wax for my baby this weekend, nothing complicated.
