Default Victor Wheels

Does anyone have these or know anything about their quality? I don't track my car so I don't care about a few more pounds of unsprung weight. Wondering if these are a good and an inexpensive (around $400 per) replacement for the lobster forks.

i was considering them at one time (i forget what style) but the only reason i didnt buy was because of track weight. they seem to be strong, built well and from a well known company. another cheaper option than most of what's out there are OZ's. that's the route i went. and they ARE light for the track too.

I'd recommend looking at this thread on the 996 forums, and while nobody really answered, the same question asked here in the wheel and tire forum.

They look good to me and they're very inexpensive (~ $290 - $320 ea). Used turbo twists are another option at that price. Personally I like them, but if you want to spend lots more money there are arguably better wheels. The previous poster mentioned OZ Ultraleggera HLTs, which also look nice. I can't find a price for them however.

I just pruchased a set of Victor Innsbruck wheels for my car. The best place to get the best price is discount tire direct. I had them mount a set of Hankook V12 evo tires to the Victor wheels.

Since I have a silver 996, I decided to go with the matte black version of the innsbruck wheel.

All around a nice looking wheel. My only complaint it the paint and clear on the wheel. It is really really thin.Very easy to scratch.

Other than that, I think it is a good wheel for the price. Damon from the tire rack commented that he wished the tirerack would carry the Victor line because the product is from a reputable foundry and made by TSW.

Jim,

Can you tell us what offset wheels you bought? And I assume they were NB fitments? Tia.

I was thinking about getting the Victors as well. But I can't seem to find them in a OEM offset for my Targa 4. I think I need 57 and 51's?

I use Victor Turismos (18") as part of my winter set-up. No problems and no complaints.

Nice pics mb1. I have the victor zehn in black for winter. They look good to my eye and haven't been a problem. Go to discounttire.com and plug in your vehicle info and they will show what is available for your car. The website now doesn't offer the zehn for my 2009 c4 but I imagine they could source anything Victor makes if you called them. Matt at DCT in Naperville, IL is highly regarded by the local Audi crowd and many make the trek from downtown to this distant suburb for his service. Evidently, he has customers on the east coast who rely on him rather than their local DCT. If only they could sort out my recurrent TPMS problem every spring and winter.
