Cheap mod, cheapened looks IMO.

hate to be that guy that brings an old thread back from the dead but....

does anybody have a picture of black stone guards on a Guards Red Coupe? Also, even if the car isn't Guards Red, i'm also very curious as to how black stone guards look with the Turbo II wheels, because while they're not black wheels, they do have a kind of two tone black and silver look to them, and i'm curious to see how they look with black stone guards and what people think of that look.

 

didn't read whole post but definitely like as I put them on my last 4 997s, including Carbon Fiber on my TT that Im driving now.

 

what's the difference in the Fuchs between the first two cars and the last one? I like the dished out (wider lip) last ones....

 

the first set are from Porsche; Sport Classics
the 2nd set are Rugers; good quality for 25% of price.

 

Is it just me or do I like everything that costs more!!

Just like black wheels they are not for everybody but I like the look on my silver 997 with black top.

 

I vote for clear, not liking the black, unless your car is black.

 

These are from what I know, the speedster look. There is a 997 one that looks different, resembles the classic 930 look with a pointy leading edge. Not enough pics to compare, I seem to prefer the speedster one which most people seem to have

 

Damn! The Fuchs with the stone guards looks awesome!!!! Takes me back to the '89 911 Speedster.... White with the black wheels looks so cool...
