If you go to autopia.org, its a great detailing forum, most people are pretty obsessive about detailing there. I spent some time there and I learned a lot. Amazing how much time you can really spend on detailing your car.

I had to laugh when you mentioned that you knew where every scratch, chip is. Misery loves company.
Too much time on your hands? Buy a black car like mine (ours), it's like a second job....

I know that some of your neighbors hate your guts. Junk, junk, junk, Black Carerra S, junk, junk, junk...

Black is tough, but it looks so good when done. Guess what I'm doing this afternoon?

scott, your mexico blue 911 is f*cking fantastic

I did mine as well a couple of weeks ago. Washed, clayed, polished, washed, and 3 coats of sealant glaze.

Sick, only problem is it will only look like that for 20 mins on the road! Drives me nuts

I know what you mean. Black cars are a PITA. It did look pretty for a couple of hours in the garage.
