Likewise, but I can't even see any lawn from my roofdeck.

I cut my own grass. Why not.

My mower is not that sensitive to fuels. It usually runs just fine on a cup of coffee and maybe a croissant or banana.

But then I've only got to run my push-mower over about as much grass as is the square foot of a large bedroom.

Wife cuts the grass. One of my best investments ever - very nice (commercial quality) self-propelled Honda lawnmower. Wife fired the gardener for hacking up the Japanese maple, she's done the yard ever since.

17-19 minutes with an electric mower.

By the time I'd get done talking to the yard guys, I could have had it mowed and gone. Nope...I'm happy to do it.

I cut my own grass with a 61" Scag Turf Tiger...I like to make the fancy patterns. I also detail my own cars and repair/fix everything in my house.

I also use mid grade fuel and Mobil 1 10W30 oil works best in all my small engines. In the 2 cycle engines I mix with Mobil 1 Racing 2T (discontinued in 2007) I bought a case once I heard it not being made any more.

I grew up poor with blue collar roots. So yes I cut my own grass. It's just part of me and I enjoy it. Gives me piece of mind.

I've got 2 acres of pasture that need cutting every 2 weeks so one of my friends' sons does it for me for £20 a time. He let me down this weekend so I cut it myself. Quite enjoyed it to be honest but wouldn't want to do it every fortnight. Damn thing broke down on me too towards the end!!

Still cutting my own grass with a 22 year old 2-stroke Toro self-propelled mower. Wife wants me to give it up but I like the workout and the satisfied feeling when it's done.

Yes, it takes me 15-20 minutes to cut it, I don't have a big lawn. Plus it's good exercise and gives me something to do on Sundays instead of staring in the garage all day.

I stopped cutting my grass years ago due to allergies. It used to ake me 2 hours to cut 1.25 acres with a lawn tractor. I had to schedule my weekend around the weather / when to cut the grass.

When we had the plane, the lawn mower ran on Av-gas.

Ran great.
