She (10yo) helps me wash the car (sort of) - apparently she thought the two r's in the Carrera on the rear decklid were an "m" . . . How funny.

 

Well, none of my employees know about my porsche. My 4 year old daughter came to work with me last week and I overhear her telling eveyone that I had to get a radar detected because I drive my Porsche too fast and the police are hiding in the bushes trying to get me.

 

They're not..?

 

This is how paranoia gets passed from generation to generation. Sad.

 

That's funny.
We awere at a friend's home a few weeks ago and the issue of cars came up. My wife mentioned that we were getting a brand new X3, at which time my 4 yo asked if we would be buying it like the Porsches or leasing it like the BMW's.

 

You have taught her well....

 

It's not really paranoia when the kids are riding with me and we see a cop hiding in a bush, car out of site, with his radar/ laser gun and they ask me what he's doing. I wasn't speeding but in my area laser and radar patrols have skyrocketed.

 

You're right. It's not being paranoid when everyone IS (in fact) out to get you.
And, by the way...it's NOT just you.

 

I see you are in the bay area. The cop could be looking for speeders but there's been a crackdown on cell phone usage while driving going on now for a while.
