Default FS: 2006 Porsche Carrera S. Guards Red, 13k miles, aerokit, PSE, perfect.

Sadly selling my 2006 Carrera S. The car is perfect in every way. Low miles, great factory options, gorgeous color combo, and some nice little additions as a bonus. I'm asking $56,000 and would be more than happy to assist with any showing/inspection/PPI.

The car is located in Lansdale, PA and only really gets driven on the weekends. Tucked away the rest of the time on my CTEK battery tender. I truely believe this is the nicest example on the market. Details below.

2006 Carrera S
Guards Red/black leather
13,600 miles
VIN: WP0AB29956S743536

Factory options:
- Aero Kit
- Sports Chrono Plus
- Porsche Sports Exhaust
- Sport seats
- Sport Shifter
- Painted seat backs/center console
- Red seat belts
- 6 disc CD

Additional items:
- 3M clear bra on bumper, half hood/fenders, and mirrors
- Tequipment red tail lenses
- Clear sidemarkers
- Champion Motorsport 19" RG-5 wheels (Pilot Sports with 70% tread on rear, even more on front)
- H&R Sport Springs
- Fabspeed cold air intake (red tube/cap)
- Black ceramic coated exhaust tips

Oil/filter/brake fluid changed <500 miles ago.

Purchased from Boca Raton, FL although the car spent almost it's entire life in North Carolina. It is immaculate in all regards and will not disappoint.

Referred the listing to a guy in my office building who's looking for a 997.1 C2S like mine. Told him that (assuming no surprises) it looks like a finely equipped example at a fair price. He said that he will be getting in touch with you.

Are you the original owner?

No stories here, the car is immaculate in every way. I am the fourth owner.

Appreciate the kind words all. I really hope the car goes to someone who will care for it as I have. Just sitting in the garage in the meantime, extremely shiny and plugged into it's umbilical cord.

Four owners in five years...wtf?

How could there NOT be any stories?

Nice looking car. Not a big fan of the overkill red on the inside but someone will bite i'm sure.
Best of luck with the sale. Why are you selling? Why did the previous owner(s) sell?

I purchased the from a dealer and I'm selling to make garage space for another car.

I was the sixth owner of my 360 Modena when I sold it to the (gasp) seventh owner. The car was pristine. I hardly think it's fair to assume multiple owners equals a nightmare of a car.

It begs an answer that out four owners no one wanted it as a keeper. Strange because it is such a beautiful car with low, low mileage. Why,why, why?

I don't think it is strange at all. We have had these threads before. Current generation Porsche buyers tend to have more disposable income. For some, they buy their first Porsche and decide that they don't like the ride of a sports car after all. Other's buy and after a while crave more power, track car, etc. They can afford to buy in and out of the cars.

I just turned 48 and based on my spreadsheet I have had over 60 cars since I graduated college....yes, 60. I have owned some cars for as short a time as a few weeks. For an attention grabbing car like this I could see how the typical middle aged man thought he wanted to make a statement and wimped out as soon as he started getting noticed.

I love the attention these cars get (you should have see the stir my Turquoise Blue 993 C4S caused). Others are embarrassed.

To the OP....Your car is awesome....you have nothing to explain!

Appreciate the various views.

At the end of the day, the car is a toy. A relatively expensive, shiny, loud, toy. I'm as **** as they come when purchasing a used car and whilst in my possession they are treated unconditionally good. Inevitably though, the next best thing always comes along...

The car may be perfect. It certainly looks the part. However this car is now looking for it's 5th owner in five years and 13,000mi. That is highly unusual. If I were buying, I would want to know why and I doubt that I am in the minority.

If everything checks out on PPI I could care less if there were one previous owner or multiple - maybe it was too red for some of the previous owners - that doesn't make it a "story" car.
