Min camber with Toyo 888?

Interest stuff...I've been running 245/40/18 and 305/35/18 R888's on my 9x18 and 12x18 CCW wheels for a few years. I wanted to try a lower profile size to try and lower the car and gear it down a little...just to see....so I installed 255/35/18 and 315/30/18 R888's. I only have 1 DE day on this size and noticed no real improvment in lap times but the track was a lot hotter and greasy so who knows....
I always thought the R888 to have a stiff side wall compared to RA1's or my street tires. I'm running 35/36 hot pressures. Anything near or over 38 hot with the R888's seems like less grip.
I only run R888's because I drive the car to and from the track. If I had a trailer I'd be on R6 or Yoko slicks....but this might be too sticky of a tire for my stock Sport PASM suspension.

Thanks again for the great info. I'm now convinced and will order a set of LCA's plus rear toe links during the week.
Any ill effects on street tire wear with -2 deg rear camber? Too much rear camber is said to wear out rear tires in no time.

I have damptronics on my car, lowered 20mm from stock, along with Tarett camber plates and have -2.5 camber in the front. The rear is set to -2.0.

Here are the the current settings:
Front Left /Front Right
Camber: -2.4, Toe: .05 /Camber: -2.5, Toe: .05
Rear Left /Rear Right
Camber: -2.1, Toe; .12 /Camber: -2.0, Toe: .12
Front Left /Front Right
Camber: -2.4, Toe: .05 /Camber: -2.5, Toe: .05
Rear Left /Rear Right
Camber: -2.1, Toe; .12 /Camber: -2.0, Toe: .12

Thanks Allen, we both are running the same rear toe. I track a lot so i'm trying to get th best setup for me. I was told that .12 rear toe was too little. I've been told to up it to at least .18 degrees rear toe per side and this will help with some rear stability in braking and traction coming out of a corner.
I have a track weekend this Saturday and Sunday and I'm going to change the rear toe and see if I notice.

I was at Mid-Ohio with NNJR last weekend. Running stock MPS tires. I had no problems with braking into T7 at the end of the back straight. Typical speed at the brake point was 140. I wore out a new set of front Carbotec XP-12 front pads.
