pagid pads and brake sensors

pagid pads and brake sensors
I replaced my stock brake pads with pagid yellow pads and removed all brake sensors as well since there were no holes to put the sensors in. As I expected, brake sensor warning light was on.
Is there any way that I can use pagid yellow pads without both brake sensors and warning light?
And I was also wondering if it is okay to run front pagid yellow pads with rear stock pads. I might want to replace rear pagid pads with stock pads.

you "removed" the sensors as in unplugged them? if so, that's your problem - the light triggers when you break the circuit (i.e. or when a brake bad is so thin, the heat burns thru the sensor). reconnect and simply tie back out of the way with some zip ties.
EDIT: altho now that i think about it...i'm not sure if that will clear the error or if you now need to visit the dealer to reset the code.
i wouldnt run pagid yellow front + stock rear. i would talk to a reputable race shop or brake supplier who knows your model and ask what flavor pagids to run in the rear when running yellow up front.

+1 on the sensors. You could make a jumper or put the sensors back and just tie-wrap them back.
For DE I run with yellows all around. I would not run with yellows up front and stock in the rear. I would think that braking would be funky when cold (fronts don't brake well while rears bite) and then when hot (fronts would grab nicely and rears would fade).

I got some used up sensors from my dealer and cut the wires at about an inch and soldered them together and shrink wraped them and pluged in the plug. Nice and clean and no tied up wires on my shocks. This has lasted me through 3 cars and 4 years. Since I swap out stock pads and street pads all the time.

So basically I can choose either cut off the rest of wires or tie them up, right?
And do I have to do so for all the four sensors? Or I can simply do that for the front ones?
By the way, I appreciate your help.

You wil have cut plug in all of them. all you are doing it completing the loop in the circuit.

Don't cut them, just fold them up and tie them off. If 997.1, go with Yellow 29s up front and Black 14s in the back (better bias) and 997.2 go with Yellow 29s all around.
