Clipped a curb

Ok, so I clipped a curb (rear passenger side) when making a right turn in a tight parking lot. I am lucky enough not to have damaged the rims at all. The tire has a little bit of rash, but nothing that would seem to indicate that it needs replacing, for example, large chunks of rubber haven't been sheared off.
So, now, the handling seems "off". I can't tell if it's psychological or real. What does the almighty rennlist think I should do? Should I take it in for an alignment, etc.?
I feel like such a dumbass

I did the same thing in my Boxster. No wheel contact with the curb and the tire's sidewall hardly scuffed. I can't remember if the handling was affected -- probably not or I would have taken the car in for an alignment check -- but I know the right rear tire suffered considerable accelerated wear from then on and after I replaced the tires and had the alignment done the right rear toe was off.
You'll rest easier having the car checked out and having the alignment checked. Take the car in. Your piece of mind is worth that much. Besides spin your tale of woe and the service manager might cut you some deal on the alignment.
Sincerely,
Macster.

Don't beat yourself up. S**t happens! I second the advice from Macster and axhoacho....not much investment to check out in exchange for peace of mind!

Thanks all, I was leaning on just calling for peace of mind like mentioned. Now, I will definitely call. Was just wondering if there was anything I should have them check as well, but sounds like it is just alignment.

I think it's highly unlikely your alignment will have been affected by such a low speed scuff. However, the likelihood of your geometry being perfect in the first place is low so you might want to look at this as an opportunity to treat your car and your peace of mind to a little suspension healthcheck.
I wouldn't recommend going to a Porsche dealer for the work. You need a suspension specialist with good experience of 911s. Sure to be one in NY state. It'll cost no more than at the Porsche centre but the service will be a million miles better.

Could be worse- I was hotdogging on the way home from work one day last year and rashed my rear wheel on a curb going about 35mph. Then last weekend, watched my brand new (and very pretty) track wheel roll away from me in slow motion across the porch, down the steps, then topple face-down onto the concrete. DOH!
Not that anyone but me will ever notice or care, but still hurts.
