Default Discount Percentage

What percentage off are you guys seeing on 2011 Carrera S cabs. I got 2 quotes on cars. One was 4.7%. The other was 4.2%. On my 2009 C2S Cab I got about 10%. Just wondering what others are getting since the new model is right around the corner.

Are you ordering or buying from stock? Where are you located? Would you buy a car from the east coast? If so, I know where you can do better...same place I bought my '11 GTS. The dealership was phenomenal; very nice discount, a great experience all the way to delivery.

I there is a new model coming up soon those discounts will increase to more like 20% if you wait. I got over 20% off of a new 2008 when the 2010s were about to come out.

I got better than that a few months ago on in stock. I'm sure they are claiming higher demand for the cab with nicer weather coming. I'd ask for at least twice what you were offered and then wait for month end.

Got a better percentage off from another dealer on a GTS cab. It was 7.1% The one thing I found odd were the residuals on the GTS. They were actually lower for the GTS than for a C2S cab. I would have thought the GTS would hold its value better but I could be wrong.

My guess would be September 2011.

I know it is hard to say, but what would be a realistic discount come this nov/dec for a 2011 GTS if there are any left on the lot? In Calif...

I don't really know but my guess is that a GTS will not be discounted so much as it is a limited run model. A C2, C2S, C4 or C4S would probably be available at a good discount.

In theory, the GTSs are a super value ( looking at list prices) but my guess is that since they will not be discounted so much, the real values will be the models I mentioned above.

AWW100 Venom recommended Tischer Porsche. I think they are in MD. I actually found a GTS cab at a dealer in Westchester that gave me about 10% off msrp. I picked the car up today.
