I am not big on wood steering wheels. I prefer leather wrapped or standard foam. Wood accents are nice in luxury cars but for a sports cars, I will take real metal, leather or high quality plastics. To each , his own...

Not a fan of wood in a Porsche at all.
It doesn't look good and it's not practical...especially the steering wheel.
I think Porsche keeps it around for the old timers who clearly still like it.

I'm 47, I guess an old timer but love my wood steering wheel !!!!!
