GT2 RS at my dealer
I dropped by my dealer's the other day and they were buzzing about the GT2 RS they had in the shop. Part of the delivery prep was to install a full roll cage. The new owner is not tracking his car but wanted to look the part. Nicely equipped with yellow stitching. At $275K it's the priciest 911 the dealer has ever sold.
Oh, and they had a GTS out front with a "SOLD" tag on it.

Good luck to the guy - he has an amazing car.

I still think the guys is a poser, what is the point? You buy a quarter million dollar car to basically look at and pretend you do something with it that you don't. These cars are meant to be driven!

If it's true the owner isn't tracking the car, it's unfortunate that it won't be used the way it was intended to be, but I don't begrudge the guy spending his money on a really desireable vehicle. What is odd, IMO, is going over the top wth a yellow roll cage that screams "hey I race this thing" when apparently he really doesn't.
