Also, that looks like a harness bar, not a real roll cage. It's sort of like putting non-functional air scoops on your hood. Or big spoilers on FWD drive cars. Sure, rich people can blow their money to have fun, I don't begrudge them that, but tarting up your car with fake "racer" mods that don't actually work is just the worst. I wonder if he'll drive around the city with his tow hook screwed in, a fire extinguisher, etc.

I stand corrected - it was indeed a Speedster. They also have a second one coming in that's not yet sold (in case anyone's interested ). And a very nice GT3 RS in the showroom. For a small state dealer they apparently do very well.

I saw one in person at Sebring last weekend. I believe it belonged to Alex Job. Stunning...simply stunning.

Agreed, but a dork is a dork, no matter how much is in the accounts. The car speaks for itself. Let it do so.

How many GT3's are out there that don't get tracked ? I see plenty of FS ad's stating "never tracked" its either a lie or there is a % of buyers who love the look and sound and just don't want to run the car at a track.
I would imagine the buyer of this GT2 RS knows what he's getting, and might just want the top model for his stable..

Maybe that's what he told the dealer to avoid subsequent warranty issues...

It's his money and his car...he can do whatever the heck he likes.

It may not be a full roll cage, cbzzoom, but it's at least a partial cage and much more involved than a simple harness bar like mine below (maybe I should have painted it yellow!). Besides, putting in a harness bar just for show might be sillier than the cage.

don't hate...it's just like all the 3s you read about here, almost all are tracked, and that's cool

then you see all the FS adds, and suddenly, none of been tracked....WTH????

black is the best color for the 2RS

Don't begrudge the buyers of these cars! After all, there are people out there saying similar things about you and I and our cars!

Since the car has no back seats anyway, there's nothing wrong w/ adding the 1/2 cage even if one does not track.. that's just extra safety there.. !! (I guess what I meant to say is, it is not like he has the compromise something (the rear seats, in this case) even though he does not have to, just for the look..)
