You're a complete moron.
What I posted was based upon a google search?
You've just shown that you're a complete idiot. It was a passage from Rosen's Emergency Medicine 7th Ed a copy of which I have and clearly you do not understand.
I've been an emergency physician for 30 years. Tell us what your role in the "medical profession" has been, idiot.....

Hmmm... Best look at the facts. In my recent cracked flywheel episode EasyCare covered the 3G repair that Porsche would not. Porsche apparently feels flywheels are a wear and tear item. EasyCare does not. 5 months into the extended warranty I am almost at break even. Regret I did not go for 5 years as I plan on keeping the car. Each to his own I guess. I am amazed at the difference in mechanical problems between my business partner's 335i and my 997.1. So in my case, I love my car and happy to have the extended warranty.

TurboSimon: I purchased mine through Flemington Porsche in Flemington, NJ. The contact their is Corey Evans. [CEvans@flemington.com]. My car has 13K miles and I believe one of the factors in pricing is the mileage. Repairs can be done in any ASE Certified repair shop. Good luck.

Me.....I enjoy this forum so I don't have to hear from guys like that. There's enough of that everywhere else. He can go there.

Haha, don't worry, he's not really a physician, he only plays one on the internet. It seems he's plagiarized his forum persona straight from "House" No US hospital today would keep a physician on staff who calls patients and other staff "moron" or "idiot" to their faces. The lawsuits would be raining down like a monsoon.

I don't know guys. For anyone who has spent any time in ER (on either the patient or the doc side) knows that it is not a healthy environment.
I'd be calling people morons too if I had that level of stress for 30 years...

Whew!!! Just had my RMS and IMS changed due to a progressively worsening oil leak. My cost = $100 deductible. Fidelity's cost = $1961. I changed my clutch while they were in there.
Policy Cost = $2877

Yes. RMS leak is a $700 repair: https://rennlist.com/forums/7243726-post5.html
Only an idiot would spend $3000 to cover himself for a $700 failure (and that was the whole point of this thread.)

BTW, I purchased the policy when my car had 12K miles and this repair was done at 14k miles. 46k miles more to go on the policy. The policy does cover complete engines as well.
Since the car was apart, the clutch job (other than parts) was for "free".
I'm not sweating $1-2K but I'm going to take my $2k saved and buy another set of wheels.
