Thanks for the suggestion Doc, however I like to keep the stock bits together for when the car gets traded or sold.

Nick.. Part of the reason I like the Borla is the new tips.. Figures.
I also like the dedicated pipe per outlet in their design.

I've been speaking with IMGT3 on the phone and he's been a great help.
Well there ya go....Great you now know what you want. Did you order a set?

I'm working out the details with IMGT3 today.
There's still 2 feet of snow on the ground here..

No need to rush.

I've gotta say Chuck (IMGT3) was fantastic to work with.
He was totally willing to spend the time talking to me that I needed.
I've happily placed the order for a new Borla cat back from IMGT3 Performance, and expect it to arrive in a few weeks.

Thanks to everyone. I'll be adding my own A/B sound bytes when the time comes.

I've never heard a Borla on a 997, but have heard several on BMWs and they sounded great.

GL with your new exhaust.

Default AWE or Fabspeeds or a combination?

Sorry to revive an old thread. But I acquired this 997.2 C2 and I thought at first it was a Fabspeed as the tips say it. But underneath in the middle cross pipes says AWE. So is it a combination or just the tips? The muffler just has a symbol like the BMW M logo so not sure if it’s actually fab. Any help identifying would be great.

Pipe has AWE marking

Not sure what brand? lol

Says Fabspeed.

Quick Reply: AWE or Fabspeed?
