Current Market Pricing for '08 Targa 4S
#31
I bought last Feb a 07 Targa 4S for 63.5 K. Atlas grey Black interior Sport Chrono Plus, Sport exhaust etc
Drove it across country. Great car.
The only thing is with all that glass, the car get very hot here in the summer in Florida. Although tinted the a/c is running full force to keep the interior comfortable.
A great machine and lot's of all the good stuff.
Targa's are niche buyers, but you do get a lot of respect from those who know how special she is
Good Luck !!

That's why my next car will be a Cab, (09'C4S), in the winter here it does give more pleasure and the heat does not stick around that long under the cloth roof in the summer as I experienced from other P'cars. Targa is great and beautiful lines, but I should live further north. South Florida can be brutal.
And as the new model 911 is coming out, better deals are to be had with younger cars.
Good luck.

Stumbled across a 07 Targa 4S that's in the process of receiving a new engine in order to be CPO'd. MSRP was $111 against current dealer asking price of $70. Meteor Gray Metallic with Cocoa interior. It's a Tip with options including power seat package, 19" turbo wheels, Bose high end sound package, heated front seats and nav.
Am I being self-delusional to think that this car could be had in the high $50s?
Thanks for the reality check!

Miles on the rest of the car?
With a new engine and CPO, it's probably worth a bit more, like high 50's, low 60's.
I'd ask why the engine swap though.
Meteor with Cocoa is a pretty nice combo.
Post pics if you get them!

Miles on the rest of the car are about 23,000. The engine was swapped because when doing their CPO inspection, the dealer's technician noticed a small amount of oil (tiny droplets) in the coolant. They thought that this could mean either a leaking head gasket or a small crack / imperfection in the block somewhere. There would be no way to be 100% sure that it was diagnosed correctly so their answer was to replace the engine. The dealer claims that this way they are 100% sure that whoever buys the vehicle as a CPO'd vehicle is not buying something with a future concern.
I think you're likely right-on with the price point being in the high 50s-low 60s. Will see how much they want to deal.
Appreciate your input.
