Default Is that a pen-holder?

Sorry for my ignorance - Is that a pen-holder in the storage slot located just next to the handbrake? It is a circular thing, upright, about 6mm in diameter......

I think that is an extinguisher for a cigarette. The pen holder is in the glove box just next to the cd holders. There are some odd little items in this car....

^ exactly
A cigarette needs oxigen to burn. By inserting it in to this hole, you are "choking" it so it would extinguish without having to squish or break a cigarette. Many cars have one, nothing odd about it.

smoking culture has died here in USA, so folks simply do not know those things anymore.
not so much in Europe where everyone still smokes, drinks and mostly lives happily into their 90s. guess why?

Couldn't guess why, but I don't think there is a positive correlation between smoking and life expectancy - maybe anecdotal at best.

Is that what Africa needs? More cigarettes and booze?

Check these charts and you'll see...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ion_per_capita

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ife_expectancy

Australia is a good example with one of the higher life expectancies and a lower smoking rate than the US. If we all in the US could just become Canadian...

Leading causes of death in the US are heart disease and cancer - by a wide margin - you crack those nuts, and there's your answer.

primary cause of early deaths is never ending stress and unhealthy habits plus over eating when no one 'has time' to eat properly and then they gobble up whole daily ration at 10pm dinner and go to sleep.
france, spain, germany, switzeland too - a LOT of smokers there. not everything in life is as simple as tv propaganda tries to imprint into our brains.
simple truth is that everything is good in moderation. i do not say chain smoking is good for your health, as well as drinking into oblivion. still, there are ways in life to enjoy it fully and still be healthy.

here in cali we have been using it as a bullet holder, It fits a 9mm parabellum backup round perfectly, but I guess you could use it to extinguish a cigarette if you wanted to.

I use the "pen holder" in my glove box for a spare tire pressure gauge.

Dumbest post I have ever seen on this site. Or any site.

Or are you just a troll?
