I don't think so, no. The Sports Suspension just feels perfect to me...tight, but not rigid. It's solid.
PASM engaged is not as harsh as PASM was in my '06 C2S, either, but I still wouldn't recommend it for city street driving.
Because I know you other guys waiting for your GTSs to come in are having a tough time...
here's some GTS **** from the Hollywood Hills this afternoon. Skies were perfect.

It's a new Porsche silver called Platinum Silver Metallic.
To me it's less white than Arctic Silver, and less blue than GT Silver.
Platinum Silver leans a tad toward grey, but it looks different in changing light, like most metallics.

I got Pilot Sports, also.
Porsche used to have three different tire suppliers (Michelin, Bridgestone, Pirelli) and would fit whichever manufacturer's tires were on hand at the time of build.
Not sure if that's still the case, but since Doug's GTS and mine were probably built within days of each other, and both got Michelins...

Thanks, Doug, for the interior shots. Yours looks identical to mine.
In the promotional shots of the GTS, the Alcantara interior had Alcantara on the center console, and the lower dash (below the cupholder line). I'm guessing the U.S. cars don't come that way, or perhaps Porsche decided not to fit any of the cars that way.
Doesn't matter to me at all. I was just curious about the differences.
I was worried I wouldn't like the Alcantara steering wheel, but so far I love it. Wonder what the fabric will look like in a couple of years?

I wonder if the Alcantara you mention comes with Full Leather as it does on a .2 gt3. That's how my 3 came. I know sans FL the lower half of the dash and doors is plastic.

I believe you're correct. The cars I saw at the L.A. Auto Show had full leather (although they were Eurospec cars). That's probably where the bonus bits of Alcantara come into play.
For me, a little bit of the stuff goes a long way. I like the accents of it I have now, but I'm not so sure I'd want more of it.
The Alcantara steering wheel doesn't get hot or cold to the touch - nice plus.

Drove one. Loved it.
I was a dedicated manual transmission guy, until I drove a PDK car.
After two weeks behind the paddle shifters, I'm not missing the clutch pedal at all.
The PDK transmission is an amazing piece of technology. Plus, it's killer quick.
