Default Price for used Carrera Classic rims

Haven't decided for sure but thinking of switching to HRE P40s. Any ideas on the market price and demand for a set of 4 used 19" Carrera Classics in very good condition (pic attached)?

Wheelenhancement will take them in trade and my guess is they would give you about $1K for them, maybe slightly less depending upon their stock. I know them personally for years and they are great folks to deal with, honest and knowledgeable.

Food for thought.. Replace the Classics with the HREs., clean the Classics well and put them away in the boxes that the HREs came in. Some day you may want to sell the car. You could replace the HREs with the stock Classics, then sell the HREs to someone in here - in about .02 nanosceconds, I'm sure..

That way you'll recoup a good portion of the price of the HREs.

If storage space is an issue, then by all means, let 'em go.

NC997's advice would be my suggestion too.

Getting the P40s and keeping the Classics is a great suggestion. Have the storage space but would like to offset the cost of the expensive HREs. Decisions, decisions...

I traded my lobster forks for my Champion RG5's (at Wheel Enhancement) on my 997S. I wish I had kept them, as I learned when I got my TT that a dealer cannot CPO a car which has non-OEM wheels. I'm thinking about new wheels for my TT, but I will definitely keep the OEM TT wheels for that reason.

Was thinking of these on my Atlas Grey pictured at the top of this thread. Opinions?
