I seriously cannot believe what Ferrari was thinking today by calling him in behind slow cars.
Worst call i've ever seen in a championship race like this.

I'm not super happy that Vettel won, I'd have liked to have seen Webber take the title, but I sure am happy that Alonso didn't take the championship. He can drive, but he really is a grade A douche...

This is exactly how I feel. You have to know Petrov is going to do everything to stop Alonso from passing, with Red Bull running Renault engines and all. It's not Petrov's fault Ferrari screwed the pooch on the pit strategy.

I wonder if it was a strategy for red bull to have webber pit to force Ferarri into the pit mistake?

Ferrari gave it to Vettel but calling Alonso in so early...I was rooting for Alonso, but Vettel deserves the win and the championship. What is really incredible is that they (red bulls) had to wait until the very last minute when they have had such a dominant car.

I went into this race with a real dislike of Vettel but have been reflecting as to why. I realized it was his behaviour in Turkey and then the front-wing debacle in Canada.
I also had a similar dislike of Schumacher when he got his first title by punting Hill off but eventually came to respect him for being a good and fast driver (if ruthless).
We'll see if Vettel lives up to his nickname of "Baby Schu". In the end, the fastest guy won. That there is no racing in F1 is the fault of the regulations and circuits so we can't really blame the drivers for that.

Vettel simply out-drove the rest of the field in today's race.. He was untouchable. A victory well earned, and a surprising Championship win as well.
Kudos to a great team for not throwing in the towel earlier in the season... congrats to all.. (better than watching NAPCAR).

Vettel was clearly the fastest driver the whole season and had the most poles.
He kept fighting despite mechanical failures and driving errors. For a young guy to pull this out with so much pressure is remarkable.
I enjoyed Vettel's recounting that his team did not tell him until he finished the race that he was leading the championship for quite a while! His emotion at the end was wonderful to see.
Webber was a sentimental favorite but he made too many mistakes in the season which someone with his experience should have avoided.
Alonso was my favorite (tenacity, leadership and confidence) and too bad that poor strategy let him down. Ferrari of course will now re-double their efforts and will win next year --- Ole! Massa is an after-thought in the team.
