Default Sabine Schmitz "Ring Taxi" GT3 RS gets away from her...

...but nice recovery!

I think "Ring Taxi" would be well worth the money in this car. I did 3 laps in 2006 in my C4S, my 4th lap should of been in the Ring Taxi!

That is hardly the definition of "losing it".

This has been discussed in the sister forum, in which Sabine explained that she was trying to take a 'slick tire' line while that GT3RS was running on OEM Cup tires.

If there is anything I want to say, I would say that she had an amazing save at the corner. Bravo!

Great save, and very difficult to pull off at those speeds... I have always respected her abilities after driving that tall cargo van around the Ring in that Top Gear episode. This video just reinforces what a great driver she is... Looking forward to a lap with her next spring!

I'm sure she gets bored of going around the 'ring over and over. She has to mess around a bit to keep herself interested

Sensationalist media calling that losing it. When we do something like that at the track it's no big deal, we power on, and maybe if somebody behind saw it we'd have something to talk about over drinks that evening...

I wonder if PSM was on and that's what caught the RS back. The engine seems to cut out as she first understeered or got loose in the front end and then the back end gets loose. Well never know. Only those who have driven with her on their new gt3s with euro delivery could attest as to what settings she does.

That was great - she starts laughing and makes a joke about checking the tires...
