These fit in the trunk, up to three, maybe 4:
I live in Hawaii, on the beach, and have tried almost every iteration of folding chairs.
These are high quality, extremely portable and compact (but rather heavy), and one can play a full-size acoustic guitar while seated.
Great support and super comfortable, fit into a high quality carry bag with shoulder straps.

Even if they fit, take care not to scratch up the back of your seats!
