Default 2007 Codes Question

Did Porsche put an option label on the underside of the hood or anywhere else in 2007? I recently bought a Carrera 4 Cab and there is not an option label however there is a paper one in my maintenance booklet with a dealer stamp.
Other posters of older 911's thought I should be concerned. Should I?

The one in the maintenance book is the only one you get.

They used to do that during many years of production but on the 997 cars they ceased doing that. As helispud suggests you have to turn to the maintenance/warranty booklet for that sticker.

Well that's a relief as you don't know what you don't know when your buying your first porsche carrera 4 cab. I've had it for about a month now. I'm in my late 50's and driving it, it makes me feel 20 again. Life is good!

Beautiful car! Great color combo as well! Good to see you went with something different for your first. What made you decide on that color?

Enjoy............I'm 62 and I've owned Porsches for 20 plus years and they still make me feel that way every time I start that engine!

In NJ everyone has black, silver, grey or white. I just can't do those colors again. Now don't get me wrong, black is awesome and I saw a black one on this site with black wheels that blew me away. But the Carmona Red isn't too flashy like Guards Red, and really shines up nice and the tan interior works well with it. AND the car came with a hard top! I paid $51K. It had some miles -44K.
But it had nav, full leather, heated seats, the hard top, the dealer had just done the 40k tune up, new front brakes and put new tires on all around. It's 4 and a cabriolet. I couldn't find anything that compared. It also had some warranty left (5K) and I picked up the extra 2yrs/50K extended CPO through Porsche.

Congratulations, very nice color combination.

p.s. How is the hard top? Is it easy to remove/store? I am thinking of getting one for the winter but not sure.

I live in NJ too. I went with a PTS on a 2010 in Edgy's (Dan's) color combo of Turquiose Blue with black top and Natural Brown interior.......I love the color and it's very different than ny 2006 C4S Cab that was Arctic Silver with a lipstick red interior.

Arctic on lipstick red must have been sweet! And of course blue with nat. brown! Interesting color combos Tommy. I like your taste!
