Question PASM FAILURE

My fn PASM failed for the 3rd time the other day (08 C4 with 5K miles). The sport exhaust works fine but the PASM makes me crazy! So now it's back to the dealer..... Anyone else have issues with this?

Never had a problem with the system on my '07. Care to share any details of your failures?

What is the failure mode? Does it stay fixed in Normal or Sport?

I get PSM failure at Daytona over 130mph in NASCAR 4. PASM goes from sport back to normal and Sport Chrono goes to normal. Pit and turn the car off and back on and everything is fine....until I get up to speed on the banked turns again.

what means - the less brains one has in a spec car - the better car it is.

LOL...I do wonder about my brains though...I never could get it figured out at the dealer why this kept on happening. If I kept the speed through NASCAR 4 under 120mph for example everything was fine...but somewhere around 130ish...BAM PSM-PASM failure.

At a flat track like Sebring or a track with hills I have no issue....just the 31 degree banks at speed.

I suspect that PSM thinks the car is in risk of rolling over. Have you brought this to PCNA's attention?

Yes the dealer and I did....ran the code ect...sent the a stack of print outs. PCNA was no help and very mute about this problem. PCNA could really care less actually. I wrote emails with out 1 single reply from them.

If I was a big star like Seinfeld, Porsche would have this issue fixed.

theoretically you can disable PSM permanently via PIWIS... like i said - less brains make it better.

Well I do not think so unless you know something that BNG racing doesn't know. Yes PSM can be disabled but it's a lot of work from what I understand. If I could do it I would.
