Long story short, Parked my 2003 911 Cab in the driveway last Saturday night and some lowlifes cut the top used the garage remote to get into the house. Stole the keys and my 911 and a few other items. The police found it Sunday afternoon stripped a few miles away.
Good news is I'm 911 shopping again. looking at 2007 Cabs now.
Glad to hear everything worked out in the end (aka you got your car and no one was hurt). Perhaps think about locking the remote in the glove box or taking it in with you in the future.
Glad to hear the car is "totaled." If they steal mine I'm not going to report it for a few days just to make sure I never see it again after they ream the heck out of it.

And THAT, my friends, is why I want the hardtop option if I purchase a cabriolet... not that I anticipate parking mine outside, but...

Well, thats not everything working out. If things had really worked out for the best, the thieves would have run the car into a bridge or concrete wall injuring no one but maiming themselves for life in the process, maybe with a Porsche crest embossed on their foreheads.
