I would be concerned that paint on the calipers which is not baked on
by the factory would eventually start flaking off.

In case youre not up to date with the latest technology. Here's a great option for any car. Google "glue on calipers."

If the yellow color works well with your styling use it.

If others feel the need to think you are pretending to have PCB's, when that should be visible by looking at the brake pads themselves, its their problem. Don't sweat it.

The ONLY thing that maters is do YOU like how the car looks to you. What we think is irrellevant.

FWIW, I also considered going yellow on my yellow Targa, but with the grey wheels I have, decided the stock black worked well and left it that way.
