actually i like wish i could have the bumper of a gt3 on my 997.2. Luv the side vents and center pipes. I also wish P would offer the the F6 in the TT, GT3/rs in the 997.2. Oh hell if was P I would do a lot of things different.

I doubt that, unless you did some serious liposuction. And you can already get a narrow body C2S with X51 and PDK, right?

++ Having a wider body only slows you down. I'm very happy with the thin car.

How many of us keep trying to lower the car's weight when we could better afford to lower our own

Good news overall, hey, it is good to have choices, right? For me, the question is what other extras do we get for the extra price. x51 is great but that alone would not justify the price increase. I like the widebody but I would not pay extra for that. More details anyone?

+1

I really like the concept of more power, wide body and RWD. It's very very tempting. But not quite enough for me to justify the added cost over the standard S or spending a little more to get a GT3.

The yet to be mentioned other extras could be the deciding factor...

If they do bring this out you could spec sport classic gray PTS, the wheels and front bumper and get the ducktail from the after market supplier.

And heh presto a sport classic for 1/2 the price minus the bubbles.

+1!

People do crazy things to drop 10-15 pounds off the car, not sure about you guys but I could definitely lose 10 pounds, or is it 20?

Have you ever seen the factory built race cars? They look kind of wide...

Lets you put big tires and increase the track.

At the rumored price of $103k, it already represents a discount even without any extras; Base C2S + PowerKit has an MSRP of $105,700 + destination charge.

If it comes with the other 'sport' options as part of the package...S-PASM suspension w/LSD, sport buckets, etc...it could be a relative bargain.

When you put it that way, the GTS looks even more tempting. Furthermore, the limited numbers will make the car very exclusive. Compared to a C4S, I'd take the GTS in a heart beat.
