Building my 2011 911S PDK, need some suggestions
1) Exterior Debating between Meteor Gray , white and Black- Need some suggestions here from a look and durability perspective ( 5 plus years), I always use the better car washes touch less but still they do leave swirl marks which I think can be removed with a good detail
2) Interior : Black Adaptive sport seats with Rear center console Aluminium or rear console painted black
Options
1) Sport Chrono plus ,Nav, BT, Ipod adaptor, Standard audio ( not thrilled with Bose), Heated seats, self diming lights, Parking sensors ( I find them useful in tight spots ), Steering wheel paddles, model name on center leather storage bin
2) Thinking about PSE not sure yet , I think it is less louder than stock when off and louder than stock when on, some said it burbles nicely on the overrun also, I am not sure i understood what he meant, ?
3) and also just the sport chrono in Guards red, would it go with the interior?

I dropped the red sport chrono idea, will add XM
My previous 07 Caymans S was Atlas grey and it went up in price to 3K, so debating between Meteor and black . I will get the black carpets and still thinking about PSE and need some more input on the cornering lights usefulness( some owner I met recently said they are ok, but not great)

Cornering lights are a must have after having them on my BMW. They will be on my next Porsche. Also, test drove a 911 with the red gauges. They looked ok, but make it very difficult to read the tach.

I love the snug fit of the adaptive sport seats (***) but you would miss out on the ventilated seat option. Please check out which one is more important to you. Also *** could be uncomfortable for a large person. One more thing, htave you seen natural leather. The dark grey natural leather is almost black in color (but subtly different). The feel of nautral leather and how well it ages compared to standard leather are two reasons why you pay a premium price up front but that matters only if you are going to keep your car for a long time.

Check out meteor with full leather coco interior, very classy and sophisticated. Red dials look like crap imo. Center console painted in exterior makes sense for a cab, not for a coupe. Carrera S wheels look great and are lighter than the turbo wheels but If I were you I'd look into getting the rs spyder wheels.

I like the carrara s wheels
I have not seen the dark grey natural leather but I have seen carrar red and it feels high quality. The std black leather in my previous cayman S starting to show wear after 10 K miles, Leather does wear but it was getting scuffed almost the painted leather could lose its sheen
Anybody have natural leathers and if so worth it?
I like the black carpeting so I guess if one gets the natural dark grey leather then the carpets can be deviated in black

The two things that I didn't know I would wish I had gotten were:
* Natural Brown Leather interior
* PSE
The things that I got and loved:
* Sport Shifter
* Slate Grey Metallic paint
Things I wish I HADN'T gotten:
* Navigation (lol @ Microsoft Paint - my $50 iPhone app is better)
* Natural Brown Leather interior
* PSE

1+ Full leather interior with all the stitching makes for a great interior. If I were to do it again I would cover the shifter console in full leather as well. Who doesn't like to be cradled in finely worked leather?

Only one piece of advice. "Plastic."
--avoid the plastics! Put as much leather as you can afford in it, Black is not a high quality leather. Natural brown is as nice as a Coach product. And XRR wheels.
