"Law of Karma" and "people make things happen to themselves".....like the little boy who ends up with leukemia, or the spouse who gets beaten up every day, and all those innocent people dying and starving around the world. Yep, they do it to themselves. LOL as if this philosophy is the only one and "look it up" like if it were the word of God. Sounded more like the mean spirited attitude of "he hadded it coming". Don't know the truth about karma or fate...but skip the preaching as it were an absolute truth.
There are a alot of bad things that have happened to alot of good people that we all wonder why...and not 'they had it coming'.

Who cares. How come the mods haven't locked this thread yet but are so quick to lock threads where people rant about bad dealership experiences?
This is diving into one's personal accounts while the other spoke of business practices. What gives...what's RL coming to?!

Oh - I am not here than long either and I am sorry to hear of OCBens misfortunes. I really enjoyed his oil change thread and it prompted me to do the job myself saving me me hundreds of €€€€.
I love people who are clear and methodical in their approach to jobs as was clearly illustrated in his posts. I hope he gets back on track soon and gets another 911 if he has not done so already.

I'm sorry to have offended you. It DOES bother me and I regret it. My intention was not to cause trouble.
Point is: Law of Karma is infallible. Look it up. Things just don't "happen" to people. People MAKE things happen to themselves.
Also, the specific information about OCben's misfortune is a matter of public record here. That's how I found out.

Over the past few years, there have been a number of folks who have been kicked off. Certainly it's not the same as being "vaporized," at least in the Orwellian sense, as we are not banned for speaking of them.
These folks might appear to some to be relatively provocative. They tended to post a lot and were fairly visible. I don't think that's the reason for being banned, but your risk of being banned is probably loosely correlated with the number of posts you make.
I learned to change my oil using Ben's post. I also learned how to wash my car without swirlies from his post, too.

Ben lived by the keyboard and died by the keyboard.
Some would classify what happened to him as suicide by mod.
He spends some of his days seemingly happy, on another board, where he extols the virtues of the right wing
I spend some of my days reminding him just how wrong he can be.
