How do you increase the nav volume without raising the stereo volume?

Here's what works on my 997.1:
Wait for her to start talking and then adjust the volume wheel.

Have you considered using the 'sound' and 'options' buttons as I described?

Uhhhh... Sorry. Seems your subject line is nearly identical to one on the sixspeed forum with the same question. I forgot I'd changed forums since answering the question over there.

Here's the answer I gave there:

Left of the screen, you have a button labeled 'sound'. Press that.

Now on the right side of the screen, you have a button labeled 'options'. Press that.

One of the items shown will be "guidance volume". Select that and adjust.

Gary is correct. It should allow you to adjust the NAV volume.

Just press the map button while the map is actually showing (that repeats the last instruction) and adjust the volume while she's talking. It works when Nav is not active as well but instead of the instruction she tells you so!
