hi,
Skybum, many thanks, i had some small problems with the clutch fork and i had to drop the car at the Porsche dealer, so i could't install the hacked exhausts because i would have avoid the warranty.
Tomorrow is the big day, hacked exhausts with the 1.5 inches pipes, look forward, keep you posted
ciao

Mufflers will not void the cars warranty...only thing that will not be under warranty when you do the "gundo" hack is the mufflers.

well, i think i will go for the medium ground.... 1.5"...any suggestion?
many thanks

I went with 2" and I'm glad I did. Don't know how much a half inch will make in the sound but consider that the pipes that you are connecting are also 2" (I believe that is what we measured).

BTW, I can recommend a great exhaust shop in Raleigh NC for anyone interested.

You can also send your mufflers to FisterD. I think they'll even do a core charge arrangement or something so you don't have to wait.
