OOS purchase, which Lemon Law?
I'm looking at a car in Calif and I live in Wash, which, if any, Lemon Law would apply? To complicate matters my nearest dealer is in Oregon. SO if I ever had reason to file a claim under Lemon Law which state's law would apply?

Instead of relying on what we may think or believe, just call one of the many firms that file lemon law claims in either Washington or California. Without qualification, they will be able to tell you in which state you have standing.

Per my state's Atty General
If I purchase a vehicle outside of the state of Washington , I get NO coverage from the Washington Lemon Law.
Now if only our government would allow me the pleasure of not paying our state sales tax on a new vehicle purchase from OOS then I would be very happy indeed!

Why are you even thinking about lemon laws? Do you expect the car you are buying will turn out to be a lemon?

You should really just call a lawyer. I have a case going on a car purchased in ohio but I live in louisiana.
I'm just here browsing in case I decide to go 997 when this case is over.

I'm pretty sure the laws of the state where the purchase transaction take place would apply, not the state where you register/license the vehicle. So if you buy a car from a dealer in California, where the sale takes place in California, then the California law would apply. My thinking here is that the lemon law is covereage that applies at the time of sale, and doesn't follow the vehicle. But as was suggested, its best to consult someone with experience and professional knowledge on this, because I suspect it may be lemon-law specific... that is, each state's lemon law is free to define under which conditions that state's lemon law applies. So in your case it may be that both or neither law could also apply as there is no reason the law could not require that the purchase AND licensing of the car have to be in the state (just to manufacture an extreme case).
