998 Interior?

998 Interior?
While doing a Google search on the Burmester Audio Sys. I stumbled upon this pic. Could this be a leak of the new 998 Interior?
The pic is small, but maybe its a hint of things to come. Seems realistic, considering the recent changes to the new Cayenne.
Any thoughts?

Oh God I hope not. But I'm not optimistic. Porsche will probably follow trends these days more than ever. Look at the "trendy fashion statement" interiors of cars like....., I don't know. Maybe Nissan or Acura: my bet is Porsche will try to fit into that mess.

The next 911, aka "991" will probably also offer that Burmester stuff.

I'm hoping 991 has an interior that is minimalist - more like the 458 than a super-sized Virtu phone. The 458 looks like it's a driver's car rather than 21st C bordello with massaging seats and cocktail shakers for cup holders.
I also want easy voice activation so I can shout and swear at the controls on a Monday morning and they will behave like Baldrick in the Blackadder series.

Nope. There was a spy shot last year showing just a glimpse of the new 991 interior. It was definitely similar to the Panamera center console, but nothing like your pic. More true to the current 997 interior with a touch of new Panamera/Cayenne style. (a.k.a. big, black buttons).

Not much hope for the future, IMO. The classic "purist" interior look is almost completely gone; will be blurred even more to match popular expectations as time goes on. Could't find a decent interior of 997.2.

The 997 interior (especially the 997.2) is pretty simple and elegant. if I had a 997.1 and it was a keeper I would send the faceplates of the PCM and AC to Eric at BumperPlugs.com and have him paint them satin black like the 997.2, if at all possible.
