Default Video clip of my newly installed "Gundo's", modified mufflers.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lb0pc-7VPu0

I'm running an '06 C2 and I installed some modified mufflers, modified from the original, they function (for the most part) and sound like a PSE. Sound is deeper and maybe it's just me but it would seem that the car rev's more freely with these Gundo's.

You'll also notice my headers, not sure there is much to be gained by replacing them, they look to have a layout, if not diameter, of the X51 header. Only thing left to do is possibly upgrade the cats. I'm going to leave the tips as is, want to maintain that stock look from the outside.

Bruce, your video is marked as "private" on YouTube so we can't play it unless we've accepted a friend request. Could you make it available for public viewing?

Great video clip! The hacked mufflers are easily the best mod I've done.

never seen a hack like that...

i always do 2" pipe between em.. so its vertical once on car.. both 997.1 and 997.2 ive done it and sounds amazing on both... on 997.2 u need to add a new center exhaust bypass tho to make it sound like the 997.1 gundo.

Okay, I'm soooooo ready to do this. What do I need?

I've got the welder and 16 shop bays to work with. What kind of welding sticks did you use? What kind of steel? Where is the walkthrough?

While it's on a hoist maybe I'll paint the calipers... hmmmm

just weld a 2" steel pipe between the inlet and outlet of the side mufflers... takes 30 minutes max... measure... cut... drill the hole in the pipes.. weld em up... call it a day..

the OP used some odd size pipes ive never seen before, all ive seen and everytime ive had it done used 2" pipe.

This seems really cool. Can someone explain what the hack is really doing? Is it creating a bypass so the sound is louder and stronger?

And just what is a "gundo"?
