Default Premier Signature Full Body Clear Bra Wrap - '10 GT3

Doing what our team is really known for - our custom work. For this 2010 black GT3, customer decided to join the ranks our customers with Turbos, LP640s, CGTs, Enzos, and other supercars for our Signature Full Body Wrap. The application is done so via Clear Guard (aka clear bra or paint protection film) with just about everything in bulk material (non-precut). Essentially every panel on this GT3 is fully protected

Customer wanted maximum protection, but did not want to see the clear bra. The following pictures show the end result as we are sure the customer would be ecstatic about. This is not a conventional type of installation. Most clear bra or paint protection film applications are merely applied to just the partial front end of a car. This type of protection is designed for those who plan on keeping the vehicle for a long time.

Doing the whole car seems like way overkill. You're going to lose some shine, but reduce your waxing and claying I suppose.

How thick is your material? I had one shop offer to put on 11mils, which I swear was three times thicker than scotch tape. In fact, I put a 4-6 inch piece on our granite counter tops to see how long it would take my wife to find it and tear it off. It's still there, unnoticed. Thin is nice, but I can't imagine it providing any protection.

The work is first rate, no doubt.

Just curious how much to do something like that? I could not imagine covering the entire car.

Wow, looks like a labour-intensive install. How long was the process? I agree with others so far, that most of us would not wrap their entire car, but the pics show a meticulous installation. Particularly with coating the entire car, to keep it lasting a long time, what do you recommend for maintenance by the customer as far as what to do and not to do(washing, wax, clay bar, etc.)?

He's saving the car for the next guy. I bet it's around $2,000.

Uh, it's +/- $700 to $900 (I can't remember exactly) for a standard half hood mirrors, front spoiler, headlights - and that is a several hour job. They do a very nice job though (I'd use them again).

You'd lose that bet.

You're way under market for that kind of work.

That has to be the dumbest thing I've seen done to a GT3. Who is the owner - Howie Mandel?

I am guessing it was $5K to wrap that car.
I wonder if the clearcoat will be damaged if it ever gets taken off.
