Mine just Broke whats even better about it happened when I arrived home from my dealers oil change. They quoted me $450 to replace that plastic $25 dollar part.

I just did mine about a month back. just replaced the plastic mechanism. dealer said I needed the cable also (Bowden cable) wasn't necessary! not that difficult and I never saw the video

Call Porsche and complain, complain, complain. They will put you in touch with the right person, and they will fix it! It worked for me. Don't give up until you have reached the right boss.
