Damn Viola case scratched up my center console!
Not my daughter's fault though. Dad was there too! Does anyone make any touchup paint to hide the white scratches? (midnight blue painted CC)
damn damn damn

I considered a painted or leather rear center console and then remembered telling my 4 y/o son a thousand times to wait for me to open the passenger door instead of trying to climb out on the driver side. Hopeless!
Anyway, I am sure you get touchup paint from your dealer, or if you want to fix it right (until the next accident) send it to Eric at Bumper Plugs.

I'd opt to repaint the console, but if you go the touch-up route, consider AutoSharp paint pens from AutoVisuals (see http://www.autovisuals.com). They're as easy to use as a felt tip writing pen.

Now wait a minute! How did she scratch the console with a puny viola? I transport my cello in my C4 all the time with no problem. In fact, I may have been the first person to take a cello case into a Porsche dealership to test-fit it (my cello, which is worth more than my 997, does not fit into a Boxter). Tell your daughter to forget the viola and take up cello, a far more beautiful-sounding instrument. There are reams of viola jokes, but no cello jokes.

Wild!...I measured to fit my electric bass in a gig bag, merlin 500 heas and TC RS 210 cab. I'm happily moving up from a Cayenne. With attention to the center console, I was seriously considering leather but am unsure as to how it would hold up in that the scratches on my Cayenne leather interior console remain VERY evident. I'll post a leather care question.

lol, my 1.5yr old sun gave me a tiny dent the first night!
He is a psycho, that is always, grabbing, climbing, running, etc. etc. on anything and everything he can. Car is in the garage and he has to grab the pool cleaning pole, which of course falls and hits the left raised fender of the car. Barely noticable, but fitting that he would do it. Here is a pic of him after he climbed into the dryer and did I mention the microwave!

When you went in to test fit, did the dealer tell you, "there's always room for cello?"
