Default Sports Buckets electric adjustments...

Saw a photo of as 09' C4S PDK launch car with Sports Buckets with what appeared to be electric seat adjustment buttons on the side...Can these be adjusted as such? I thought they were manual and minimally adjustable. Thanks!

the carbon buckets are only manual back/forward adjustment in the front and they tilt... the sport seats have the electric adjustment.. could you have maybe seen sport seats?

what i dont get is in the GT3 catalog they say the GT3 seats are 22lbs lighter than the carbon reclining buckets.. so what seats are in the GT3? when i option it, it shows choice between carbon buckets and sport seats.

OOPS! My mistake...I'm looking at the latticework of the support frame, and looking through it to the underseat mechanism...o well. Thanks!

I picked up an 09 C4S launch car with the sport buckets about a month ago. I had some reservations before getting the car about the sport bucket seats given this car is a DD. However, now I absolutely love the seats. I had planned on looking for a pair of standard/comfort or sport seats to replace them with but now I'm pretty happy keeping the sport buckets. Even my wife has come around on them.

I have the adaptive sport seats in my C2S ( the electric sport seats) and when I was deciding on the Cayman I asked my wife to sit in the sports buckets. She has always commented that she does not like the deep side bolsters on the competition seats in the '83 SC so I was ready to be disappointed, as I wanted the Sports bucket seats. Well after 42 years my wife continues to surprise me. She loved the Sports buckets, so they are on order for the Cayman track toy and yes they are light and very supportive. While they do have slots for both shoulder and lap harness they do not have the hole in the base of the seat for a crotch strap. I will stick with four point harnesses.

Yeah...I too am concerned about the DD situation...also about PDK vs Manual...started out looking at the C4S, then to a T4S due to the hatch back helping me out on a daily basis...but man oh man...the launch car is set up very nicely...I need to drive it.

They do indeed have a hole for the "sub belt" in the base of the seat!

Those are beautiful seats. I wish I could afford a set of those in natural brown that I could switch in periodically!

Is the Launch Car package price from the factory a better deal than building it yourself?

By about $4,000 for seats alone
