Thanks, all. This is really useful. Royalpar, I hadn't thought of the exposed edge where the film ended as being the problem -- I think I understand what my dealer was getting at, now. I hadn't thought about what options there are in terms of where the film ends! I guess the next call is to Detailing Dynamics, to see what the options are...
